Dieulefit
A touristic resort famous for its healthy climate located 380 metres above sea level, which the airstreams at this altitude privilege the microclimate. The sunshine, the pure and dry air are appreciated by asthma suffers and other people affected with respiratory deficiencies.

Surrounded by hills and villages, the vicinity of Dieulefit offers a preserved landscape and a wonderfull place for walkers, hikers, horse and bicycle riders using marked tracks.

The Inn " La Crémaillère " is located a two minutes walk from all conveniencies : shops, supermarket, pharmacy, physicians, physiotherapists, etc. Located within a lush green park, boardered by a stream the Inn La Cremaillere offers an ideal area for relaxation.

Many hotels, restaurants, campsites, bed and breakfasts, pools, tennis
courts, a golf course, a cinema, a library are found in the vicinity.

The pottery tradition can be traced far back into the past. The "Maison de la Terre" (House of the Earth) is a perfect illustration. Lots of crafts, glass-blowing, ceramics, painting, contribute to making Dieulefit culturaly interesting.

The Tourist Office offers a large choice of detailed information and booklets in order to help you discover every aspect of Dieulefit and its surroundings.

"La Viale" the historical area of Dieulefit with its 14th century church tower is a good example of a rich architectural heritage. The old village of Poët Laval, classified among the most beautiful villages of France, home to the Dauphinée Protestantism Museum is full of history. In the 12th century the "Hospitaliers" of the Order of St John of Jerusalem built a residence for the Commander of the Order.

Other places of interest in the region are the castle of Grignan, the tower of Crest, and the cities of Die and Nyons.

Let's not forget the rural products such as the "Picodon" cheese of Dieulefit, the olives of Nyons, the nougat of Montélimar, the truffles and the wines of the Tricastin, the Côtes-du-Rhône, and other festivities and delights, etc.
